Banbury Railway Station (Torch on Felting)

Banbury Railway Station

We installed 3,500sqm of 25-year guaranteed torch-on felt roofing, profile metal cladding, roof domes, and drainage systems on the main station roof, all while the station remained fully operational. Post-contract cleaning services were also provided to ensure a seamless completion of the project.

Birmingham Children's Hospital

This extensive three-year re-roofing project at the hospital involved replacing 2,000sqm of 120-year-old slate, intricate detailing on spires and ridges, and restoring bomb-damaged sections with new Westmoreland Random Slates. Despite winter challenges, all work was completed to the highest standards over operational children’s wards, with no disruption. The Estates Manager praised our professionalism and quality.

Associated flat roofs were dealt with new felt coverings including effective negotiation of various plant upon the roofs

Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital

This project included installing rigid polyurethane insulation and a new plywood deck, followed by 1,000sqm of Rhepanol membrane and 400sqm of recycled rubber paving slabs, ensuring a durable and sustainable roofing solution.

Peugeot Motor Company - Coventry

We provided continual reactive and proactive maintenance over a period of some 30 years, this included projects large and small, such as built-up felt roofing, valley liners, Rhepanol single-ply membranes, steel re-roofing and overcladding, vertical cladding and facias , rubberised plygene gutterline systems and in the refurbishment of 22,000sqm of roof at the Stoke plant, to provide high grade warehousing of components for the Ryton plant. We also carried out large scale replacement of 2400sqm of Georgian Wired Northlight glazing with polycarbonate systems.

St Peter's Church - Mancetter

ACSAP was entrusted with the sensitive restoration of St Peter’s Church in Mancetter, a 13th-century Grade I listed building. The project involved a full strip and re-tiling of the nave, chancel, and North and South aisles, covering approximately 800sqm. All tiles were handmade to match the original roof, with carefully sourced reclaimed tiles used to make up the shortfall and ensure consistency in appearance. The team also replaced all lead valleys with new Code 7 lead, adhering to heritage best practices. As part of the wider conservation effort, ACSAP undertook York stone replacements using traditional hydraulic lime mortar, delivering a meticulous restoration that honoured the church’s historic fabric.

Attleborough Slating - Nuneaton

A previous builder had overloaded this home’s structure with heavy concrete tiles, causing significant stress and bowing to the external walls. ACSAP was brought in to rectify the issue, reinforcing the roof frame to restore structural integrity. The team then expertly re-slated the entire roof, carefully accounting for the property’s severe curves and architectural complexities. Despite extremely tight site access, ACSAP delivered a high-quality finish that not only ensured long-term durability but also restored the home’s aesthetic appeal.

CO-OP Newbuild - Rugby

ACSAP was engaged to complete the roof construction for a new Co-op store, installing over 1,000sqm of durable concrete tiles. As a brand-new commercial build, the project demanded precision and efficiency to align with the client’s strict timeline. Working closely with other contractors on-site, ACSAP ensured seamless coordination throughout the process. The team successfully delivered a high-quality roof finish on schedule, meeting the tight opening deadlines and contributing to the successful launch of the new store.

Iron Mountain - Kemble

ACSAP was brought in to resolve wind damaged flashings at the Iron Mountain data storage facility, housed within a repurposed WWII reinforced aircraft hangar. The original flashings had been poorly installed, fixed directly into deteriorating Cotswold stone and concrete with inadequate fixings and framing resulting in the old flashings being widely distributed across the airfield. ACSAP engineered a bespoke solution, using specialist resin to consolidate the crumbling stone and create a stable substrate to which the new rail system was resin-bolted. This subframe, along with the parapets, was then expertly clad in plastisol-coated steel flashings, with precise cutting and detailing to accommodate the unique curvature of the hangar. The result is a robust, long-term fix that secures the flashings in a high risk environment and provides weathering for the sensitive building contents.

Seed Warehouse - Chipping Norton

ACSAP was commissioned to over-clad the existing dilapidated metal roof of renowned American sculptor Douglas Tausik Ryder’s workshop. The project involved installing 700sqm of new profiled metal sheeting, transforming the aging structure into a fully weatherproof and energy-efficient workspace. To enhance natural light while maintaining insulation performance, the team integrated fully insulated rooflights using the Brett Martin Cleartherm system. The result was a clean, modern roof that not only improved thermal efficiency but also created a brighter, more functional studio environment for the artist.

Wooton Barns - Kenilworth

ACSAP was appointed to undertake the roofing works for the high-specification conversion of Wootton Barns into a luxury residential dwelling. The project featured 300sqm of meticulously laid handmade clay plain tiles, chosen to preserve the traditional character of the barns. To meet modern thermal performance standards without compromising the heritage aesthetic, the team installed a full counter batten system with integrated insulation. The result is a roof that seamlessly blends period charm with contemporary comfort, contributing to the overall transformation of the property into an elegant, energy-efficient home.
